Warranties provided by Hamptons Cars Limited. Please read parts and labour are included but NOT RECOVERY CHARGES.

IF ANY PROBLEM OCCURS WITH YOUR CAR THEN PLEASE CALL US IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. REPAIRS CARRIED OUT WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORISATION WILL NOT BE HONOURED BY HAMPTONS CARS LIMITED.

FOR CARS UP TO 12 YEARS/100,000 MILES (ITEMS ARE COVERED).

All Our cars come with a Three Month Warranty or 3000 Miles as standard (whichever comes first).. The Warranty Hamptons Offer is on all mechanical and electrical components listed below against failure. Engine, Gearbox, horns, electric window motors, starter motor and alternator units, wiper mechanisms, door lock/latch mechanisms (not barrels), heater motors, waterpump failure, power steering pumps, ECU FAILURE, ignition components, wiring, switches, power steering units, suspension components (excluding coil springs), airbag system, abs parts, wheel bearings, thermostats sensors and driveshafts.

EXCLUSIONS (ITEMS THAT ARE NOT COVERED).
Battery, exhaust, clutch, air conditioning components, air con re-gassing, radiator, heater radiator, suspension coil springs, remote key fobs, tyres, bulbs, wiper blades, fuses, seat rail mechanisms, interior water leaks including sunroof leaks, seat belt mechanisms, door check strap, door handles and barrels, handbrake cables, car Audio Units including tape players, Bluetooth devices, cd player, cd changers, sat nav navigation systems and speakers, body glass, bonnet locks, bonnet cables, bonnet latches, bodywork, body panel fitment and condition, aftermarket accessories, door seals, squeaks and rattles, trim and all other items not listed in the covered section.


All cars that require warranty work must come back to Hamptons in Neath. Regardless of the location, it is the customers responsibility to get the car back to us. If the car will not drive, then Hamptons will agree a fee to get the car picked up on a low loader.

If Hamptons agree to a warranty over 3 month warranty, then Hamptons will put this on the customers invoice and will also be displayed on the advert Hamptons produce when advertising the car.

All cars are checked before sale and serviced / mot’d if required. All cars are test driven to detect faults by the staff at Hamptons and any checks are either carried out by Hampotns or a local garage. Hamptons local MOT station they use IS AUTOFIX which is located in Skewen. We endeavour to ensure that any repairs required are carried out before sale. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE NEW OWNER TO MAINTAIN THE VEHICLE CORRECTLY AFTER OUR WARRANTY PERIOD ENDS.

Every customer/buyer is entitled to a independent garage of AA/ARC inspection before entering into a sale agreement with Hamptons. (This needs to be done first before customer takes delivery of the car).

Customers have been advised by Hamptons to change the timing belt on they cars as Hamptons might not have any proof of evidence in the past. If the timing belt has not been done, then Hamptons can obtain quotes to get the work done and will offer monies towards the work as piece of mind for the customer.

Any Deposits paid or taken is NON-RETURNABLE, BUT ARE TRANFERRABLE.

Hamptons offers the facility to buy the car back off the customer at their own discretion. This will only take place if the car has a fault and cannot be fixed. They will charge £149 admin payment fee to cover logbook owner amendments and re-valeting. Any mileage excess are subject to £0.51 pence per mile over invoice recorded mileage.

For example: If a customer buys a car for £2995 and does 1000 miles in the car. If that car has a fault and Hamptons cannot fix, they will offer to buy the car back at a cost £2336.

Every customer has the option to Purchase an Insurance Backed Warranty with WarrantyWise that range from 3 Months to 3 Years. They cover a comprehensive Mechanical Breakdown on Parts and Labour. These Warranties pay out anything from £500 to £3000 Per Claim.

The Prices with WarrantyWise range from £199 per year and go up to £499 per year. This varies in price, as a small car might be £199 and a large car might be £499 per year.

Car deliveries are undertaken using third party companies. All deliveries must be paid in full. The customer is legally obliged to declare his/her satisfaction with the car before it is driven.
Hamptons offer to send the customer any videos or photos before a customer buys a car online or over the telephone.
